Hi,

I'm Jo. I am a practicing midwife with eight years experience in all aspects of maternity care. I was a mamas&papas midwife of the year nominee for 2005.

I am a mother of two young children and currently work in The Alexandra Birth Centre which is an award winning midwifery led unit.

I have an interest in all midwifery but my true love is active birth and antenatal education.

I received my BSc Hons in Midwifery in 1998 whilst studying at the University of Hertfordshire.

In addition to my NHS work, I currently teach private couples antenatal classes within my own home. I also teach one to one classes.

I am also a qualified Aquanatal teacher. I cover classes at Next Generation Hatfield and Cannons Health Club in St Albans.
